anyways, the location was his choice which was really cool and appropriate for the shoot. it's the famous & historical Hotel Chelsea in manhattan NY.
"the hotel has always been a center of artistic and bohemian activity and it houses artwork created by many of the artists who have visited."
we had met after work and right away started shooting before the sun went down. the exterior of the hotel was just rich in architecture and details that we were just all over the place to the point that the hotel manager had to ask us how much longer we would take. if we had more time, i probably would have tried to take a few shots inside the hotel but we weren't sure if they would allow it since they were conducting tours.
i really had fun doing this shoot since it brings out more of my artistic side and anything in new york just makes it more exciting. i would love to do more of this kind of shoots for artists or musicians. ...calling artists and musicians out there! :-)
anyways, i'd like to thank Brendan again for choosing me to take his portraits. i wish you all the best in your musical career and don't forget me when you're rich & famous! :-)
