maternity session: grace at 7 mos.

this recent maternity session was held in new york at the home of the couple. grace is currently in her 7th month of pregancy and looks so lovely. grace and her husband are such a beautiful couple that it was so easy to take their photos. the natural light in their home was also just perfect for the shoot. grace's hubby was also playing some cool john mayer music and other similar music which made the shoot more fun for me. :-) i can't wait to meet their little bundle of joy in the next few months for their newborn photo session!

to grace and carl ...thank you for a great session and for welcoming me into your home. you are such a lovely and gracious couple. thank you also for the morning coffee and bagel. :-)
hope you like these photos and the rest to come soon. :-)

much love...

newborn session: baby mason

this is my first newborn photo session for the year and i hope there will be many more to come. this session was held in pennsylvania ...yes it was quite a "snowy" drive from NJ! but it was all worth it for this cute little one. i thought we were going to postpone the session since it was just the day after the snowstorm hit for 2 straight days.
his name is mason and he was about 2-1/2 weeks at the time of the session. he's the cousin of another newborn baby boy that i took photos of last year.

little baby mason was so cooperative when we started the photo session. he was just sleeping and was comfortable for most of the time when i placed him in the basket. after that, he kind of just got fussy and just wouldn't sleep anymore. luckily, i was still able to capture some shots in between some quick moments when he was awake and just quiet. just before i left, we were also quite lucky that he finally fell asleep so i took a few more quick shots. i hope his mom & dad will like these photos. we tried so hard and i hope this was all worth it for them.

to baby mason and his mom & dad...thank you for this special session. thank you for welcoming me into your lovely home and for all the patience.
special thanks to his uncle tim too. :-) i hope you will all like the photos.

lots of love...

newborn session photo slideshow: giovanni

i recently just started offering these photo slideshow DVDs of photo sessions, parties or events that i had photographed. i think that it is just more lovely or fun to see & experience your photos in a slideshow with background music. it makes it more special too once you share it with family or friends and view them together. here's one that i just did for a wonderful family for their newborn session held a few months ago...

note: these photo slideshow DVD's are also available for previous clients who may be interested in having a keepsake of their session/event. They are also great as gifts for family or friends.

e-session: jessica + phil

this was my first session for the new year...what a fun session! this recent photo shoot in new jersey was for the engagement of this sweet & cute couple. the session was an engagement gift from their friends with whom i also had an engagement photo shoot a few years ago. i don't normally have winter outdoor sessions but the couple recently just got engaged in the winter so they requested for a winter photo session. i happily obliged and just hoped for weather that wasn't below freezing! i kept wishing that it wasn't winter so we could last longer outside in the cold. luckily, we had a great sunny afternoon at the park despite the cold weather though it got bitter cold and dark really quick. i was glad that it wasn't too cold in the beginning of the session that we were able to take some photos without their winter coats. kudos to the couple for braving the cold w/o their coats! and also bringing some props which made the session more fun. :-) in the end, despite the cold weather & leafless trees, the lovely couple made the winter season look beautiful.

to jess and phil, congratulations again on your engagement and thanks for a great session! sorry that we had to rush when it got dark so quick! i hope you like your sneak peek and the rest to come soon.

i wish you all the love, peace and happiness for the rest of your lives together.

lots of love...

this was how he proposed! cute! :-)
