acoustic blues

A good friend of my sister is an upcoming acoustic singer who is based in New Jersey and has been playing a 12-string guitar for years. He wanted a few shots to put up on his upcoming website so we scheduled a photo session a couple weeks ago. He wanted a city background so I quickly suggested the best view in the world. So we ended up having the session around my neighborhood with the New York City skyline as the backdrop.
You might notice the change in background color. We had the session at the best time of the day to view the city skyline - from dusk or what they call the blue hour 'til the evening when the sky just turns black and the NYC skyline lights up. You would be able to see and experience this magnificent view in just an hour of sitting. I just love it! He was just in awe when he saw this. ;-) Hope he likes these photos since he has only seen some of these.

I'm not sure if I would concentrate on this kind of session but at the end, I enjoyed doing this cool session since I think I'm more inclined and exposed to the arts and of course NYC. I also probably wouldn't mind doing this kind of session again. :-) Thanks again for this experience Brendan!
