this recent photo session was for baby giovanni who was 3 weeks old at the time of the session. the session was held at their home in new jersey. it was really cool that his parents found my work in facebook and got in touch with me just after their baby was born. (click here to see my facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/melaniedphotography) luckily, i was able to work out my schedule and make time for them before the baby got bigger since babies grow so fast in their first month.it was a great day to have the session. it wasn't too cold and there was no rain that we were also able to get a few outdoor shots. baby giovanni was one of the best babies i had photographed. he was well behaved that we didn't have to have too many feeding or relaxation breaks. his parents mentioned that i was lucky too since he was not cranky at that time.
of course the family photo wouldn't be complete without their family dog! he was so amusing in his Superman costume which matched giovanni's. check out their family photo below! :-)
anyways, to baby giovanni and his parents... thank you for choosing me to photograph your family and also welcoming me to your lovely home. i hope you like the photos in this sneak peek and the rest to come. :-)

Paula and I want to express our great thanks to Melanie for doing this photo session of Giovanni for us. We can't say enough about the amazing sense of professionalizm and passion she brought to the job. She captured all of the very special moments we hoped for in our sons early life and also gave us beautiful images we never even thought of. When the photo session was complete and Melanie was leaving, it didn't feel as if we finished a business transaction as much as we just had a wonderful visit with a special friend. She is now our photographer for life.
