1 year photo session for kori

last weekend, i had a fun photo session in new jersey for kori who just turned a year old. i am so glad that her mom got in touch with me again a year after her newborn session...click here. it makes me happy to know that they liked their photos the last time and would want another photo session. :-)

it was supposed to be a nice sunny day but rain came early in the morning. we were all glad that it turned out great though since the sun came out later and we had the chance to take outdoor shots. kori was the most adorable little girl! her infectious smile just made me smile at her all time. at one point, i kept laughing and adoring her since after she got some snacks in between the session, she would do her cute dance and flash her most adorable smile. :-)

her mom also wanted photos of her in her halloween costume. she was so cute in her little bee costume :-) ...so we set her up with some pumpkins and colorful fall flowers with her as you will see here in her shots. she loved to read and was just really happy while she was reading so we tried to get some shots of that too. her mom & dad also tried to set her up with photos of their dog since she also loved their dog. :-) we ended the session with photos of her just playing at their backyard. it was really fun even if it meant running after cute little kori all around their house. :-)

i'd like to take this opportunity to thank kori and her family again for welcoming me again into their beautiful home. i hope you like the photos in this sneak preview...more to come soon.
it was also cool to see their home again too since they now have a pool in their backyard. :-)

hello again!

i just want to finally formally announce that my photography website and blog has a new look! i'd like to thank family & friends who shared their opinion and suggestions during the development of my business logo. hope you like the final product! :-)

my new photography website still retains the same name but now has a new fresh, fun & modern look which also reflects the concept of my photography work.

david blaine in central park - dive of death

i am always curious to see what David Blaine is up to everytime he is in NYC to attempt to do something crazy. he says it himself... that he is a crazy man. :-)
(david blaine was born and raised in brooklyn, ny.)
this is the 3rd time i've had the opportunity to see him in action right before his magic spectacle. this time, he is at the famous Wollman Rink in Central Park. tonight, as i post this blog, he will conclude his 3-day spectacle in NYC.

"David Blaine, known for his headline-making spectacles of physical, emotional and mental endurance, will live on the line -- literally. Blaine, the 'Upside Down Man,' will attempt to hang from a thin wire five stories in the air -- with no safety net or airbag to break his fall -- in Central Park's Wollman Rink for three days and nights. Using electro-magnetic boots, Blaine will walk on and under the wire during more than 60 hours of the challenge. How will he exit from his perch overlooking New York City? Details of Blaine's heart-stopping plunge at the conclusion of the special are a closely-guarded secret."

i guess you'll just have to watch it tonight, see it in the news or read about it tomorrow... warning: don't be surprised if it doesn't end up that great ;-)

my friend's maternity session

my good friend, nancy had asked me to do her maternity photo session a few months ago and we were able to finally to do it a few weeks ago at their lovely home in NJ... time flies! and i finally get to see their place too. :-) she is now on her 7th month of pregnancy and they are expecting a baby girl. :-) i am so happy for her.

i just got back from a nice long weekend vacation so it's only today that i found the time to post their sneak peek. it was a fun session also since it's summer so we were able to do both indoor and outdoor shots. she had knitted this cute yellow baby shoes and sweater so i included it in their photos, which you will also find below.

i'd like to thank again my friend, nancy and her husband, david for welcoming me into their lovely home. i'm so glad to have been part of another wonderful milestone in your lives. i can't believe that you're now having a baby after just attending your wedding last year... time really flies fast! baby session: baby avery at 7 weeks

i had the wonderful opportunity again to take photographs for such a beautiful family. the session was held about a week ago in NJ for baby avery who was 7 weeks at that time. she was such a good baby, although like all the other sessions i've had, we had some breaks for baby avery to relax and be comforted.

we were lucky to blessed with a nice summer weather that day that we were also able to take outdoor shots in their backyard. by the time it got really warm, we were ready to take photos inside their sweet home. i specially loved the yellow baby room where i took most of the shots. kudos to mom and dad who tried to make avery smile for the camera too. i was lucky to catch some of those cute moments when she flashed her adorable baby smile. it was also fun to have their dog around who followed avery's dad wherever he went. i think the dog was jealous some times when he was not included in the photos that he tried to sneak in and join the family. :-)

i'd like to thank again the family for welcoming me into their home. avery's dad didn't get enough sleep the night before since he had to work the night shift and had to go back to work a few hours after our session. thanks again for your time and patience. it was great meeting such a nice family as yours. i hope you like this sneak peek and that you will like the rest of the photos. i hope to see you all again soon. enjoy the rest of the summer. :-)
