newborn session: baby benjamin

i have been blessed and happy to finally meet baby benjamin. the 1st and 2nd time i met him was when he was still in his mom's belly for her maternity shoot. during that time, they still didn't know if the baby was going to be a boy or girl :-)

this photo was from the 1st trimester photo session. that's benjamin's sonogram. during that time, they already had thought of names for either a boy or girl. :-)

1st trimester - 3rd month
2nd trimester - 7th month

the photo session was held a few weeks ago just right before i left for a vacation ...with the whole family this time. :-) the session was part of 3-session package. (either a 3-session maternity package or belly to baby package) baby benjamin was only about 2 weeks old. he wouldn't sleep most of the time but he finally got to his napping by the end of the session. it was good though 'coz then i was able to take shots of him both while he was awake and sleeping. we also had to make time for some feeding sessions in between which is normal for newborn sessions.

i want to thank his mom and dad for playing some baby music during the session. :-) it made the session more relaxed and also might have been soothing for baby benjamin too. thanks again for welcoming me into your home. it has been great sharing this experience with you.

newborn session: baby alex

i had the wonderful opportunity to photograph another adorable newborn. he had beautiful blue eyes like his mom's and dad's. the photo session was held in their lovely home just before i left for a vacation during easter weekend. it was a lovely sunny day which brought in some nice light into their home.

baby alex wouldn't sleep during most of the time but i'm glad i still got great pictures of him while he was awake. he was a very good baby and stayed still most of the time. the only time i had a difficult time was when i put him in the basket and he kept kicking the blanket. :-) we finally also got some shots of him while he was asleep just close to the end of the session.

i'd like to thank his parents again for welcoming me into their home. it was nice meeting all of you and thank you for all the assistance too. i hope you like the photos.

i'd also like to thank Maureen again for giving the photo session gift card to the family and giving me this wonderful opportunity.

cancun vacation

if anyone was trying to get in touch with me ...this was the reason why I wasn't able to get back to you soon ...i just got back this week from a great 7-day vacation in cancun, mexico. :)))

all i can say is that ...

all inclusive resort hotel - drink and eat all u can!
ocean front view & balcony
cancun sunrise over the ocean
warm sunny weather
pina coladas & margaritas on the beach and pool bars
white sand beach
bright blue ocean water

... are all great!!!

i definitely loved cancun! :-) ...and i'm glad spring is here and summer is coming soon 'coz i can't wait for the nice warm lovely weather!

9 month amber

time really flies... my god daughter is now 9 months old! :-) she's now trying to walk and just a few months ago, she was just a tiny fragile newborn. it's been great seeing her grow through her every 3 month photo session. you might have seen her 1 month, 3month and 6 month photo session images here in my blog and website.

so it was her mom's cool suggestion to try a different setting for her 9th month session. so for the on-location session last weekend, we went to a fastfood place which had a play area. unfortunately, the play area was a bit cramped and lots of kids started to run around so we just tried to make the most out of the session. aside from kids running around, we had to deal with amber's moods and whining. she's no longer the quiet little newborn but now almost a little toddler growing up... it was quite a challenge trying to take photos of her this time. :-) after all that, it was still a fun session trying to make amber look at the camera and smile. thanks to her god father, grandma and cousin for dropping by and helping us out. :-)

i just want to thank her mom and dad again for the fun session. thanks for the lunch treat too. :-) can't wait 'til the next photo session - her one year! see you in 3 months...happy easter too!
