the 12th day of Baby K

This was another special session for me. She was a truly adorable 12-day old newborn. This session was a special gift to a special family. I'd like to thank Maureen for giving me this opportunity and the parents for welcoming me into their beautiful home.

Little baby K had her uncomfortable crying moments and the only time she almost fell asleep was when she was wrapped in her pink blanket. Being a few days old, I thought she would sleep more but maybe she was just curious to see why there was always a camera in front of her face. :-)

This was the last photo of the session and Baby K suddenly just gave me a little cute smile. :-) It made my day. :-)
(You can find more photos on my website too and more to be uploaded soon.)

Fall Season is here!

I'm glad Fall is here! I love Summer too but I love Fall season too and all the colors it brings. It's also the best time to go around and take photographs. The colors won't last long so let me know if you want to book a photo session for Engagement, Family or Children or Baby portraits in New York or New Jersey. :-) The best weeks to take photos are usually the last 2 weeks of October to the 1st weeks of November. Below is a photo from an engagement session I shot during Fall last year. You'll find more of those photos on my website and previous posts here in my blog.

The Goddaughter

I just had to post these cute photos that I took during a picnic right after her baptism ... just look at her smile and pose on the 1st photo :-) She's less than 6 mos. old and she's as big as those gigantic Lays chips. She's my adorable god daughter and seems like she might grow up to be like her god mother who loves all that junk food. :-0

Amber in Central Park

Guess who's now 3 months old? ... It's adorable Amber. :-) If you've seen my website, her B&W photo is the first one you'll see. We recently had a nice quick 3-month photo session for Amber in Central Park, NY. It was also her 1st visit to that park. People at the park and passing through just thought she was so adorable too. She had her hungry and crying moments but she was very cooperative most of the time just staring at me and my camera and during some moments, I had to smile at her so she would smile back. :-)

Her mom requested that I post some photos so here they are. :-) You will also find some of these photos on my website.

special session in NJ

During the past few months, I had the chance to spend more time with Chris, Luke and their beautiful kids. I had the chance to spend a short time with them in San Diego when we visited them early this year. They were here in NJ visiting for a few months for special reasons so I had the chance to know them better and spend more time with them. They're like family to me now and I'm missing them ... so I thought I'd upload some photos during a quick photo session at the park. Little girl K was a great model but too bad that our session was cut short 'coz she was anxious to go on the boats and the playground :-) but I'm glad I was still able to capture some nice shots. Daddy Luke was not around since he had to go back to San Diego.

I'd like to take this opportunity to tell them ... thanks again for these special moments. We miss all of you and we hope to see you soon again. Maybe you'll decide to stay longer next time ... right Luke? ;-) Hope you liked the photos I've sent so far to you and posted here. I will add more to this post soon.

The photos below are the reason why they're special to me. Below are some photos of the kids with their sweet Uncle Dan. :-)

Inside a Photo session

My life has been so hectic for the past few months that I haven't had time to post anything here on my Blog so I thought of posting something interesting...

In case you're wondering how this photo was shot...check out the photo below this.

yes, this is how it was shot :-) ... all i needed was Daddy Redd holding tiny Amber and some natural light from a window

Thanks to mommy Aya for taking this shot. I wasn't even aware that she was including me in her shots. :-) Click on this link for more photos during this session...
