My cousin Jam and Pia B. got married on July 7 '07 at the beautiful Fingerlakes in upstate New York. It was such a lovely weekend for a beautiful and classy destination wedding. Kudos to both of you for all the preparations ... the vineyard tour, the boats, the accommodations, the rehearsal dinner and of course your lovely wedding day. Here's a sneak peek of that very special day. I will add more to this post soon! :-)
A good friend of my sister is an upcoming acoustic singer who is based in New Jersey and has been playing a 12-string guitar for years. He wanted a few shots to put up on his upcoming website so we scheduled a photo session a couple weeks ago. He wanted a city background so I quickly suggested the best view in the world. So we ended up having the session around my neighborhood with the New York City skyline as the backdrop. You might notice the change in background color. We had the session at the best time of the day to view the city skyline - from dusk or what they call the blue hour 'til the evening when the sky just turns black and the NYC skyline lights up. You would be able to see and experience this magnificent view in just an hour of sitting. I just love it! He was just in awe when he saw this. ;-) Hope he likes these photos since he has only seen some of these.
I'm not sure if I would concentrate on this kind of session but at the end, I enjoyed doing this cool session since I think I'm more inclined and exposed to the arts and of course NYC. I also probably wouldn't mind doing this kind of session again. :-) Thanks again for this experience Brendan!
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!! I know it's kinda late but I still wanted to greet and post some photos. :-) I've been really busy attending so many weddings and doing all kinds of stuff. In fact, I just came back from my cousin's beautiful wedding weekend in the Fingerlakes in upstate NY. I will post a lot of photos soon!!! ... hopefully.
Yes, Amber is now a month old. I had posted some photos of her earlier on the day she was born. She is the daughter of my cousin and lovely wife. They are the nicest couple you will ever meet.
I had a photo session with them last weekend at their nice home in New York. I'm glad I got good photos even if we were rushing to go to a BBQ in the afternoon for my niece's graduation party. It was also the 1st time for Amber to feel the sun and summer air and meet most of the family. They were so easy to work with. Amber had her crying moments as well as quiet moments where she just passed out and fell asleep in her Daddy's hands as you can see in the 1st photo above. I'm glad I got to do this for them. I have loved kids since I was a kid... ask my cousins - i took care of some of them when we were all so much younger. ;-) It's also so nice to finally see another baby in our big crazy family. I am also happy that I had this opportunity to capture a wonderful milestone in their family life. I will be adding more photos to this post once I find time. Thanks again Redd, Aya & Amber. :-)
The quote on the photo above was daddy Redd's request.
