i had to postpone their session the weekend before because of bad weather so we were so glad that the weather turned out to be much better that day. the weather was a little bit cold for the little ones but it wasn't too bad that they were able to take off their sweaters after a few hours.
everything was almost perfect but i have to admit that this was the toughest photo shoot i have done so far. their two little girls were not in their best mood that morning so we just tried to make the best out of it. i also would have extended the session but unfortunately, they already had something planned right after the session. little gabrielle would not even look at my camera and would always turn away even after i had gained her friendship & played around with her a couple of times. her mom even said... "i don't even know how you could do this". :-) my answer is ...i love kids and i am just really passionate about my work that i just try to do my best even if it means running, jumping around with the kids and making silly sounds and faces. :-)
with all that said, i think i was still lucky to be able to capture some nice shots. their mom had mentioned during the session that they will probably have another photo session when the kids are a little bit older.
to gabrielle, arielle and her parents... thank you for choosing me to photograph your family and capture a wonderful milestone in your lives. it was nice meeting your lovely family and i hope to see you again in the future. i hope you like these photos and the rest to come.
lots of love...
